Super Bowl Predictions? If you dare...

To promote some interest in the site I am going to ask all of you about how you see the Super Bowl going over on Sunday. Please write a comment back to me. I will post the winner by projected outcome and score. If no one responds I will get over it.

For me it comes down to defense. Arizona has an x-factor on offense and it is not Kurt Warner or star back Edgerrine James. It is the duo of Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald. The Eagles failed to stop Fitzgerald last week and lot of that had to do with the attention demanded by former Pro Bowler Boldin. However, the Steelers boast a terrific secondary that includes the best strong safety in the last decade, Troy Polamalu. He will keep a lot of the passes headed towards the sidelines. The rest of the secondary will make it difficult to complete those difficult throws. Meanwhile, the NFL's defensive player of the year James Harrison will cover the flats and pressure Warner, which will eliminate a lot of the deep passes to the talented Fitzgerald. Sacks and turnovers will haunt Arizona despite a solid defensive performance on their part. The Steelers will own the game clock behind strong running from Willie Parker.

Winner: Steelers
Score: 24-21
MVP: Ben Roethlisberger

I like to root for the underdog, I'll take the Cardinals, by the same score
